Minimum Wage California 2024 Yearly Income. As of 2023, california’s minimum wage currently stands at $15.50 per hour for all employers, with some cities and counties adopting a higher. Starting in 2024, california will have the second highest statewide minimum wage behind washington, which is more than double the stagnant $7.25 an hour federal limit.

The living wage shown is the hourly rate that an individual in a household must earn to support themselves and/or their family, working. This year, california has decided that the minimum wage increase will include an inflation adjustment of 3.5 percent for all employees.
